About the foundation

A life of compassion. A legacy of service.

A World Vision: Ashton Rae Woods Foundation was founded as a living tribute to Ashton, a daughter, sister, friend, philanthropist, and missionary.

Ashton lost her life in a car accident caused by distracted driving at age 33. Throughout her life, she served displaced families, advocated for marginalized groups, led youth programs in underserved areas, and taught children.

Her commitment to serving with compassion, integrity, and love is at the center of the foundation’s work.
